About the Director
My name is Alex Ortiz
I am a Juris Doctor graduate and MBA candidate with experience at the intersection of law, public policy, business analytics, and technology. My professional work is grounded in advocacy, systems improvement, and expanding access to public benefits and services.
Through my advocacy efforts, I have testified on multiple state and federal bills and contributed to policy discussions affecting veterans and underserved communities. This work has led to opportunities to speak at the White House, where I was recognized as a Latino veteran leading change through service, policy engagement, and community impact.
I bring a practical, data-informed approach to problem solving, informed by legal training, business strategy, and firsthand experience working within government and nonprofit systems.
