Elder Services Part-Time Van Driver

The Town of Randolph seeks a part-time, non-exempt van driver for 14 hours per week (Thurs-Fri) at $12/hour. Provide friendly, courteous and safe transportation services to senior citizens as assigned or scheduled. Candidates must have a good driving record be courteous and sensitive to the needs of seniors. Have a working knowledge of local streets/roads. 

 Qualifications:

·        Adheres to the Town of Randolph’s driving/van services policies

·        Must have a valid MA Dr. License and operate vehicle(s) in accordance with all applicable laws

·        Routine check on vans (including, tires, fuel, seat belts etc.)

·        Reports issues/problems with vehicle to Adult/Senior service Director as soon as practicable

·        Provides daily reporting on van services (riders, mileage, fuel)

·        Assists passengers in getting on/off vans if necessary (curb to curb assistance)

·        Destinations may include Medical/dental appointments in surrounding towns (No Boston trips) or for non-medical appointments, within the town of Randolph

·        Must take mandated training as described by MArtap (Massachusetts Rural Transit Assistance Program) Including but not limited to,  Wheelchair Lift and Securement, Safe Transportation under the ADA

·        Performs other related duties as assigned
